The final concert of the 20th anniversary Trasimeno Music Festival brings together three soloists with the Orchestra da Camera di Perugia, under the direction of Angela Hewitt. By Mozart we have two masterpieces: the Concerto K453 (whose last movement theme he taught his pet starling to sing!), and the sublime concert aria “Ch’io mi scordi di te?” written for soprano Nancy Storace, his first Susanna in his opera “The Marriage of Figaro”. The piano and voice parts are lovingly interwoven producing magical results. Then from Bach we have his Keyboard Concerto in G minor (his own arrangement of the A minor Violin Concerto) performed by Angela and the orchestra, followed by his Concerto for Two Keyboards BWV1062 (Bach’s arrangements of his famous Concerto for Two Violins in D minor). A grand conclusion to the festival, presented in the grandiose Auditorium San Francesco al Prato in Perugia.
Gala Dinner following the concert in the Gardens of the Oratorio di San Francesco dei Nobili, Perugia
