We are happy to announce a very exciting new venture in support of the Trasimeno Music Festival. Starting tomorrow, Thursday 12 May, and for the next two weeks, the Canadian Friends of the Trasimeno Music Festival are launching an online auction of which all the proceeds will go to support the festival and its activities. They have chosen only nine very select and unique items for which you may bid, including a private piano lesson with Angela Hewitt, the chance to attend a Hyperion recording session in Berlin, a bottle of olive oil produced from Angela Hewitt’s very own olive trees in Umbria, a recital in your home (if you are in southern England) with baritone Gerald Finley and Angela Hewitt, and several more enticing items, most of which could never be “bought”.
