Teatro del Pavone, Perugia

The Teatro Pavone dates from 1717 when sixty noble citizens of Perugia formed a private society. In 1765 it was transformed into a theatre by architect Pietro Carattoli. Nowadays, it is an important auditorium in which movies, concerts, debates and other kind of cultural events take place. The original architecture has been preserved.
